Your Locations Are Yours
Pinimize helps you save nearby places to your notes, but every location, template, and favorite stays on your device. We never see or store any of it.
No Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. This includes:
- Your current or historical location
- Places you save or favorite
- Custom templates, notes, or logs
- Any identifying information
No Analytics or Tracking
Pinimize does not include third-party analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or tracking pixels. We have no insight into how you use the app—and that's intentional.
No User Accounts
Pinimize never asks you to sign up or sign in. Download the app and start logging locations immediately.
Everything Stays On Your Device
All of your favorites, search history, template variables, and exports remain on your iPhone or iPad. Your information never leaves your device, never touches our servers (we don't run any), and cannot be accessed by us.
Third-Party Services
Pinimize uses Apple Maps Places, MapKit, and CloudKit to look up nearby locations and sync your favorites between your devices. These services are provided by Apple and operate under Apple's privacy policies. When you export or share a location to apps like Obsidian or Notes, their privacy policies apply.
iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled, Apple securely syncs your favorites and preferences using your personal iCloud account. Pinimize does not have access to this data.
